At a conference

So I'm at a conference right now about educational technology for the internet. It's pretty interesting conference. One thing that I can see that is frustrating is that all the educators are seeing great tools with no way to implement them. From the IT perspective it would be nice if there was a product that would be the end all online school solution.

Wedding Plans Progress

The wedding plans are progressing. We met with the hotel this weekend to determine the food for the reception and setup. Matthew will be relieved to know that there will be a bar at the reception. lol. What is outrageous is the price of coffee and iced tea, $16 a gallon. Those are even worse than airport prices. A gallon of water is like 35 cents at the grocery store and 4 tea bags cost about a quarter. Outrageous.

We are also pretty excited about the rehersal dinner. It's going to be at a gallery, and from what I've heard, they have excellent food and it's pretty cool inside. I think the wedding party will have a great time.

Good Movie, Bad Movie

We saw two movies recently, one bad and one good.

We went to see, "The Inside Man" last weekend at the theater. It was good, it followed my favorite plot line of stuff getting stolen. I can add it to the list of Oceans 11 & 12, Italin Job, Under the Sunset, and Thomas Crown Affair.

This weekend we rented the Weather Man. We both thought it ws crap. Crappy plot, and it had the worse writing I've ever seen.
